In the matter of the Scut h Eogachiel
Road, County Road No. 218
Resolution to prevent stream erosion
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention to correct stream
erosion at Dowans Creek Bridge by embankment protection and channel change.

The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED TO report and proceed thereon as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by day labor in accordance with State of Wash-
ington Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by this Board.

t.~r. Daly stated it's his judgement that Mr. Swift is in olaar violation of the county platting ordinance and .
the county should file suit. Board ooncur'll and reiterated their roquost of la/3t Monday, for Mr. Daly to proceed
with the necessary filing against Mr. SwHt.
The Board also repeated their request of loct Monday, for Mr. Daly to pursue legal action against the
companies who are oonduoting herring operations in L\ldlo~' Bay without a Shoreline Management Perml,t.
