O'Meara, Memoer Resolution for the distribution of PUD tax funds held in abeyance until more complete information is received regarding state funding. I Delta Electric submitted a pay request for co~pletion of 60% of the Memorial Field lighting project. After a site inspection, Engineer Becker advised that only 50% of the job has been completed to date. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to approve payment for 50% completion. Unanimous. Board received a letter from Don Bale, Pacific County Commissioner, and a form from the Department of Revenue, advising of a tax exemption for an improvement of a single famUy dwelling. Letter of appreciation will be sent to Commissioner Bale. .. Auditor Betty Temple submitted the Jefferson County Prelilminary Budget for 1975. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to accept the budget as presented. Unanimous. Mrs. Temple also submitted a copy of the letter sent requesting participation on the County Com'" missioner's Salary St udy Committee. Commissioner's Kelly and Brown will see if they can get additional people from their areas to be on the committee. Hearing for the five per cent cost of living raise for county employees. No one appeared or spoke against the proposed raise. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to approve and sign the follOWing Order, in conjunction with Resolution No. 48-74. Unanimous. ORDER I This matter coming on to be heard this day, and it appearing that notice hereof has been given for the time, and in the manner provided by law, and no objection interposed, the Board finds that facts set forth in Resolution 48-74, constitute an emergency, and that the proposed expenditure should be authorized , it is ORDERED, and the County Auditor be, and she is hereby empowered to draw warrants against the follOWing funds, not exceeding the gross amounts so appropriated to wit: . County Road Fund Current Expense fund Solid Waste ElecUons $10,084.12 $ 8,626.34 $ 250.89 $ 74.79 unles a review is applied for within five days from date hereof.
