NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and conditions set out herein and the under-
standing of the parties hereto it is Agreed as fonowa:
I.
The Council shall operate the Multipurpose Center at Hadlock during the calendar year 1974. The
purpose of the Multipurpose Center shall be to provide varied recreation opportunities for tho community.

The Multipurpose Center shall be open to the public between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 6:00p.m. daily,
except Saturday and Sunday.
II.
The Council shall employ a qualified director who shall be in charge of and responsible for the

activities of the Multipurpose Center. It shall be the responsib!11ty of the director to estabish and supervise
a program of recreational activities consistent with the needs of the community.
III.
The Council shall provide liability insurance in a form acceptable to the county in a minimum amouht

of $ 100,000.00 with a corporatioi authorized to provide such insurance in the State of Washingt.on naming
the Count~. a s an additional insured.
lV.
The County shall pay the Council the amount of $9,706.00.

AGREEMENT
This Agreement is by and between Jefferson County, a political subdivisil;)n of the S\:llte of Washington,

hereinafter referred to as the "Council".
WHEREAS, the County has a r.:OMern for thos/) poor and infirm individuals who are net racei'l,\ng
adequate nutrition, and
WHEREAS / the Council has the facilities, equipment t.llld personnel to pl'ovide moals tor tho poor and

infirm, and
WHEREAS, the Counoil reoeivel: its fundB from a number of sources, including federal matching funds,
and
WHEREAS / the Counoil prepared its 1974 budget lmd mado oomm1ttmenta in r<'JHcjnce on aSllur".noe by the

County that funds in the amount of $ 12,500.00 would be provided for the nutrition program, and
WHEREAS, the County has appropriated the amount of $ 12,500.00 tor a nutrition program in 19,4, and
WHEREAS, the Counoil has been provtding meals 101' the poer end infirm sinoe Jenuary I, 1974.
