The Council shall continue to prepare and serve meals for the poor and infirm for the remainder of the calander year 1974. Meals shall be served at no expense to such individuals, though individuals having some funds avallable may contribute toward the cost of the meal. Meals shall be served at the Multipurpose Center in Hadlock and the Port Townsend Recreation Center between the hours of 4:30p.m. and 6:00p.m. a minimum of I five days per week. The words "poor and infirm", as used herein, mOl1n one so limited financially that proper nurishment is not available and one frail to the point that physical activities have been significantly courtailed. One who is "poor and infirm" shall be called a "qualified individual" herein. I II. The Council shall comply with all feder.:'!], statel and local laws and r<Bgulations relating to the pr&pera- tion and handling of food and shall obtain and keep in effect during the life of this Agreement all licenses and permits of whatsoever nature required of one providing meals as set out herein. III. . The Council shall purchase and prepare all food served under the terms of this Agreement; shall provide all facilities and equipment, including table service; and shall do all other work necessary to provide tho meals as set out herein. The Council will, also, make an effort to provide transportation to the dining facility for those qualified individuals who have no transportation available, and will also make an effort to deliver meals to such individuals who are condfined to their residence. IV. I The Council shall employ a qualified foods supervisor who shall prepare recipes and memus which meet the nutritional requirements of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. v. The Council shall obtain liability insurance in a minimum amount of $ 100,000.00 from a company authorized to provide such insurance coverage in the State of Washington naming the County as lm additional insurred. e VI. The Council shall maintain records of the number of met,ls served the p(Jor and infirm and shall provide the county with a quarterly report indicating the numuer of meals served and the average cost par meal. VII. I 'fhe Council shall pay the Counoil the amount of 'fwelve Thousand Five Hundrod Dollars (12,500.00). VJII. Any portion of the $ 12,500.00 which is not expended by tha CouncU for tha f.ood aerv1~1e outlined heroin shall be returned by the Counoil to the County.
