purpose of meeting with Rod Dowan. from the Dept. of Natural Resources to discuss the Forest land
Pra ctices Act.

10:00 a.m. Meoting called to order by Chairman Walter A. Kelly with all Members present.
Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to approve the minutes of
November 25th. Unanimous.
Amendment No, 2, Contract No. 1060-CGG-2136-2, from the Dept. of Social & Health Services re:
Supplemental all ocutton for 1975 Cour.ty Alcoholism Plan. Motion by Commissioner 0' MMra,
second by Comml11sioner Brown for Chairman Kelly to Sign approval of the Board. Unanimous.
Board dlscu8sed lettc-r from the Hood Canal Environmental Council re: Hermitage Camp Club at
Fisherman's Cove" The Counoil questions the desirability and wisdom of per mitting high dennity
developments in ramote areas and the marina development {or the Cove.
Dennis Covert, Chairman, Coyle Water Dietrict No.3, expressed conoern regarding the
development and also questions tho desirability of the proposed dredging and filling of the Cove.
Copies of the Council's letter will be forwarded to the Planning Dept. and the Shoreline
Management Advisory Committee.
