Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED TOreport and proceed thereon as by law provided.

ington Standard Specifications for R:tod and BridUG Construction as adopted by this Board.

Engineer Becker advised that Northwest Pump sibmitted the low bid on all items. however. there is an
e!H;:alation clause in their bid stating their quotation is based on the present price, and if the price is
higher at the time of delivery, they will charge the additional amount. Diokinson Equipment states their
bid price is firm for thirty days.
Upon the Board's request EngIneer Becker contacted Northwest Pump by telephone and was
given a verbal guarantee of delivar~r within thirt:1 clays at the prices quoted, with the exception of the
36,000 lb. Uft, which they can.not deliver within the specified time, but wUl charge not more than 8%
to 10% above the quoted price upon delivery,
MotJ.on by Commisllioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to award bid to Northwest
Pump on the ccmrlltion that. guarantee is submitted in writing. Unanimous.
Motion by Commissioner Brown, sscond by Commissioner O'Meara to approve the minutes oi the meeting
of DeC9mber 2nd. Unanimous.
