The Building Official may require plans and specl.fications to be I COUNTY, WASHINGTON, as follow: Section 1. Building Cede. There is hereby adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson county, Washington, in conformance with the State Building Code Act the following codEi..Act, the following codes: . (A) Uniform Bu.ilding Code and Related Standards, 1973 edition, piblished by the International Conference;: of Building Officials; except as follows: (i) Compliance with the provisions of this code shall not be required of Group J Occupancy. (ii) That a new catagory of occupancy group designated "Group K Occupancy" is hereby established. Group K Occupancy shall include all factory-built mobile and modular homes. Grl.)up K Occupancy: I (1) Shall comply with all applicable state structural codes, including but not limited to the provisions of Chapter 43.22 RCW, and (2) Shall be attached to a fixed foundation. (iii) That a new catagory of occupancy group designated "Group L Occupancy" is hereby established. Group L Occupancy shall include those bulkheads, docks, and similar shorerelated structures which require a Substantial Development Permit under the Shoreline . Management Act'of 1971, Chapter 90.58 RCW. AllStructures within Group L Occupancy shall be designed by a profeSSional engineel' licensed to practice in the State of Washington and two sets of tho plan shall accompany each application for a building permit. (lv) Chapter 3,.301 (c) is hereby amended to read as follows: Plans and Specifications. Except for Group I and K Occupancies, with each I application for a building permit, and when required by the Building Official for enforcement of any provisions of this Code, two sets of plans and specificiations pl"eparerl and designed by a engineer or a'l"chitect licensed by the state to practice as such. (v) With each application for a building permit of Group I Occupancy the follOWing are required: (1) A thorough written description of materials and cons truction method~ (2)' A plat plan, drawn to soale, showing the location of the proposed structures . by dimensions from tho property lines to tho walla of the structure; and (3) A foundation plan, drawn to scale, Dhowing spacing and size of supporting walls and piers or ports.
