Board approved and signed Resolution No. 80-74, declaring an emergenoy for the Pros. Attorney's Office.
Resolution No. 80-74 as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-74
WHEREAS, the. Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington, be convened in
regular session, all members present, and the Board having before it the matter of meeting a public
emergency to provide additional funds for the county law Library to obtain a legal encyclopedia, law
journals, and related legal publications;
WHEREAS t the budget for 1974 is inadequate dUel to the unforeseen necessity for such expenditures;
WHEREAS, it appeares to the Boord that such an emergnecy exists as could not have been foreseen
or comtemplated at the time of making the budget for 1974 and the sum of $2,800 is necessary to meet
such emergency and is for the best interests of Jefferson County and that the appropriation be made;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that an emerger.cl' is hereby declared, that an appropriation of $2,800
be made from Federal Revenue Sharing funds for the aforementioned de9l1rtment for the purpose as set forth,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing be held on said emergency appropriation and that the
public hearing be held on said 8mergency appropriation and that said hearing be held at the office of the
Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County on the 20th day of January, 1975 at the hour of
10:00 a ,m" and the Auditor of Jefferson County be and hereby is directed to publish at such hearing any
interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.
