It’s located just down the road from our old site, and while we have tried not to make any changes to our power or FM broadcasting pattern, it is a new tower and new equipment. George and Charles Clements and their band are on an ever-evolving journey into Americana music. With roots, rock, bluegrass, jazz, and classical influences, they aim to capture their singer-songwriter sensibilities in a unique blended voice, at once enthralling and intimate, groovy and serene. The brothers have been playing and writing music together since as long as they can remember and The Clements Brothers marks their first project together since playing in the internationally touring grass-roots band, The Lonely Heartstring Band. The duo is a fusion of each brother’s unique musical journey, and the result is a music all its own, filled with vocal harmonies, instrumental virtuosity, and a genuine love of song. They repair and replace failing water lines and sewer systems. As Greg notes they “bury their best work.” The initial infrastructure in PT dates back to the 1800s. We don’t like to think about it, but there are a lot of failing pipes in our charming little town. Moving Earth has a fleet of trucks, including huge excavators. Greg and his team do projects for the city, county and even for individual homeowners. They also do landscaping jobs, so at least some of some of their work is visible.
