If passed, Washington will become the first place in the world to successfully remove and permanently protect its waters from this harmful industry.
But, we're running out of time and Cooke Aquaculture and its allies in the industry have stepped up their lobbying efforts working to convince the Board members that polluting and degrading
Puget Sound for short-term profit is in the best interest of Washington and our public waters.
In these final days ahead of the vote, it's crucial you make your voice heard, so together we can demonstrate the widespread and overwhelming public support for protecting Puget Sound
from this dangerous industry.
Don't Wait! Take action today by urging these leaders to make the right decision for wild salmon, orcas, Tribal food security and cultural practices, the health of Puget Sound! <https://default.salsa

Your Prescence at the January 7th Meeting Speaks Volumes
Whether you signed up to testify or not, please join us at the January Board of Natural Resources meeting next Tuesday January 7th in Olympia, WA when the members will cast a final vote
on whether to permanently adopt the executive order banning commercial net pens.
We already know the aquaculture industry is planning to pack the room with numerous industry representatives in an attempt to convince the Board that there is substantial support for
returning commercial net pen aquaculture to Puget Sound.
It's essential we outnumber Cooke Aquaculture and their friends to demonstrate the overwhelming and broad public support for permanently protecting Puget Sound from daily pollution,
viruses, and catastrophic escape events.
Join us starting at 7:00 am at Centennial Park across the street from the Natural Resources Building and parking lot. We'll have coffee, tea, and light snacks available and walk over
to the meeting together at 8:00 am when the doors open. RSVP and Learn More <https://default.salsalabs.org/T534a2d59-fb95-4b1b-ba3b-c553eca6ff97/e1f9ba72-dc83-4f20-90cd-07d9d1ee41b3>
