Periodic Update Workshop Jan. 30
This installment to focus on public engagement and environmental justice
Commerce is partnering with the Municipal Research and Services Center and the Yakima Valley Conference of Governments to provide information and resources to support jurisdictions with
periodic updates due in 2026.
The next workshop in the 2026 series will focus on public engagement and environmental justice with topics including:
* Public engagement policies
* Creative and effective community engagement strategies
* Environmental justice policies
* Engaging frontline communities (those most impacted by climate change and environmental issues)
* Perspectives from the City of Bellingham and Front and Centered, a nonprofit coalition
* Discussion and Q-and-A
