Temporary changes coming to US 101 for fish passage project in Blyn
BLYN – People will keep moving on US 101 as crews help fish move under the highway in Blyn.
Beginning Thursday night, Jan. 23, crews will work to shift US 101 onto a newly constructed two-lane bypass road. Drivers will notice the new travel path by Friday morning, Jan. 24.
The temporary bypass road allows crews to remove the existing culvert that carries a stream under US 101. A new bridge will replace the culvert and remove barriers to fish.
Reduced speed limit
The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph from 55 mph between milepost 271.68 and 272.13.
