I was determined to make things work and I moved over in my RV to Point Hudson. I was aware that there would be the summer months where I wouldn't be able to stay there as a monthly renter. The search was on to find a new spot to put my RV. I looked everywhere I could and was getting stumped as I could not find a place to go and time was running out. In a last attempt to not end up on the side of the road with my RV. I had heard about Olycap and the work they do so I went in.At the time I was considered youth, I was able to get a spot at CBV. You can stay there for up to two years, no rent paid. So you have time to save up and get yourself in a better position. My partner and I kept our eye out for a spot to rent. After 6 months of staying there we were able to find a landlord who would let us rent a spot with full hookups. We have been there since.Without Olycap, I can't even imagine where my life would be right now. I'm very thankful for everything they helped with. Due to their help I'm now an employee helping youth find and secure housing. They give people the chance to better their lives and help out as much as they can, given the current housing crisis that is going on all over Washington. - Ophelia Lux ►1 / :'
