STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT
Advisory Board appointment (1) re: Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC);
Citizen-At-Large Representative
ANALYSIS:
Public Works staff and Commissioner Eisenhour met with Rebecca Jewell to discuss
her interest in serving as an additional Citizen-At-Large on the Solid Waste Advisory
Committee. Ms. Jewell has considerable experience in the solid waste management
and waste reduction sector and would be an asset to SWAC and staff, particularly as
staff and SWAC will begin collaborating on an update to the Solid Waste Management
Plan in 2025.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Ms. Jewell's appointment to the SWAC and update the SWAC membership
list.
