At some future date they may want to remodel their home or otherwise develop their property, which they could not do if the alley is not vacated, At present the alley is undeveloped and is being used as a play area for the applicants' dogs, OEPARTMENT AND AGENCY FINDINGS: 1, Jefferson County PubllC Works Department: a. The proposed vacation will not conflict with the orderly expansion of the County road system. b. The proposed vacation will not hinder overall area circulation. c, The proposed vacation will not require compensation by the applicant for past expenditures, pursuant to Jefferson County Ordinance No. 2-76. 2, Puget Sound Power and Light Company: The proposed vacation will not hinder the main- tenance of existing or future electric power lines and poles that run down Cedar Street. There are no poles Or lines located within the subject alley, 3, Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company: The proposed vacation will not hinder the maintenance of existing or future telephone service lines or poles, There are no poles or lines located within the subject alley, 4, City of Port Townsend Utilities Department: The proposed vacation will not conflict with the orderly expansion or maintenance of existing or future water systems, A six inch water line runs down Cedar Street. There are no water lines located within the subject alley, 5, Jefferson County Sheriff's Department: The proposed vacation will not hinder the efficient delivery of fire protection to ,the area in which the alley is to be vacated. 6, Chimacum Fire Protection District #1: The proposed vacation w'll not hinder the efficient delivery of fire protection to the area in which the alley is to be vacated, 7, Emergency Medical Services Council: The proposed vacation will not hinder the effic- ient delivery of emergency services to the area in which the proposed vacation is located, 8, Jefferson County Planning Department: a, The Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan optimum land use map designation for the proposed vacation and surrounding area is suburban. b. The proposed vacation is not a designated trail corridor according to the Jeffer- son County Park, Recreation, and Open Space Plan. c.
