Jefferson County Public Works Department: No comment. SUGGESTED CDNDITIONS FOR APPROVAL: 1. Utility easements shall be retained with the right-of-way of Bayview Avenue east and west of State Highway 20. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: At their meeting of July 2, 1980, the Commission reviewed,the intent and department and agency findings, including the following additional findings Presented at the meeting: 1. Adjacent property owners Wallace Norton, GordonPapritz, and Anthony Stroeder concurred with the principle of restricting accesses onto State Highway 20 but felt provisions should be made for access onto their properties. It was suggested that accesses from Eisenbeis Avenue, if developed, would be acceptable. 2. Jefferson County Public Works Department: Development of right-of-ways in Phillips Bay View Addition and Eisenbeis Bay View Addition, excluding those intended for vacation, should be investigated as a means of providing access to properties abutting State Highway 20; particularly since the Washington State Department of Transportation may issue access permits for properties along the highway if access v\a a,County.road is not provi ded. By formal motion, the Commission tabled taking action on the intent until the Washington State Department of Transportation has made a determination on the feasibi1 ity of developing' Eisenbeis Avenue with regard to traffic safety. In addition, the Commission, by fonna1 motion, recommended the Board of Commissioners postpone taking action until the Commission makes a recommendation on the intent. ADDITIONAL DEPARTMENT AND AGENCY FINDINGS: 1.
