STATE OF WASHINGTON County of Jefferson IN THE MATTER OF A ) NOTICE OF INTENTION ) TO SELL SURPLUS ) COUNTY PROPERTY ) RESOLUTION NO. 47-09 WHEREAS, it is the desire of the County Commissioners of Jefferson County to dispose of surplus property; and WHEREAS, the various departments have indicated a need to dispose of those items on the list of surplus equipment attached to this resolution, for public auction to be held September 19, 2009 at Stokes Auctions Port Orchard, W A and September 16, 2009 at Ritchie Brothers Olympia; and WHEREAS, the requirement ofRCW 36.34.020 that an intention to declare surplus be published with a Notice of Public Hearing regarding the disposal of any County property has been met and the public hearing held on August 17,2009 at 11 :00 a.m,; and WHEREAS, the Commissioners heard no objection to the declaration of these items as surplus. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of Jefferson County that they make a finding and determination as required by RCW 36.34.050 to declare the particularly described property as surplus and allow the Treasurer to proceed with the disposition of said surplus items.
