Dear Commissioners:
FYI. Attached is the final design of the PUD mailing insert which will be included in the February 2024 PUD bills.
To respond to comments and suggestions that were raised last week about the survey process, I want to provide an update.
First, Heather, one of our JAC board members also is on the HSN board and we are taking advantage of the insights gleaned from their successful survey effort to ensure we reach broadly
across the community.
Second, wrt to concerns about those who cannot access a digital device in order to take the survey, we at JAC are prepared to solve that issue in the following ways. In both scenarios,
anonymity will be preserved.
a. We will make available paper versions of the survey when we host in-person community meeting for those who prefer that approach. We will collect the completed surveys at the end
of the meeting. We will then manually enter the data on behalf of respondents into the survey tool, and
b. We will make available a new telephone number we have obtained for JAC. If citizens call that number & leave a message, we will call them back and conduct the survey over the phone,
entering the data directly into the survey tool as we walk through the survey.
Third, we have designed the visitor section of the survey. In the process, we also modified the entire survey, based on feedback received. We have streamlined it a lot. It will not
take long for people to complete it. Final editorial suggestions are due to us this Friday, January 24th. The survey will go live on February 1. To view the current version of the
survey, please click below.
