Hello community organizations and businesses!
We are inviting you to participate in the Jefferson County Connectivity Summit, a groundbreaking civic engagement event designed to strengthen the connections in our community and increase
our effectiveness at working together. Formerly known as the Connectivity Fair and the Job and Trades Fair, we have taken 2 of our most effective community events and combined them
into a full and incredible weekend. We would love for you to be part of one, two or all three days!
You and your organization are an essential part of what makes this community so special. Please join us by representing your organization, business, or project at this event in order
to connect with others doing great things and to the general public that are looking for ways to more fully engage their community. The following are tabling opportunities to represent
your work. In addition, we are adding a lot of exciting connecting activities to add value to your participation.
Youth Opportunity Fair and Symposium - Friday March 7th - 10am-2pm
All Jefferson County High-School students will be there! We want to expose youth to the full range of engagement opportunities available to them in our Community. If you offer Entry
Level Jobs, Summers Jobs, Training, After-school Programs, Summer Programs, Enrichment, Education, Mentorship or Youth Volunteer Positions, then you will want your organization represented
here! This also includes an invite to the Youth Voice Symposium from 12pm-1pm to hear from local youth about the issues facing them.
Connectivity Summit: Saturday March 8th-
* 10am-1pm - Tabling
* 12pm-1pm - Lunch
* 1pm -4pm - Plenary and Conversation
This part of the Connectivity Summit kicks-off with a tabling fair of 80+ Community Organizations and government agencies. This is a great opportunity to create a representation of your
organization as part of the collage of community expressions, towards connecting with others in your field as well as with the public at large.
Responding to feedback from past participants, we are increasing the focus on activities to create connections across all participants. These include rapid networking games, collaborative
projects, Ignite Talks, and an afternoon of open space meetings where participants set the agenda! Saturday will wrap-up with Roll Call, a family friendly civic engagement party at
Finnriver.
Connectivity Summit Sunday March 9th- 12pm - 5pm - There will be no tabling on this day but we would still love you to participate! On Sunday we are asking the question, “Who do we need
to become as a community to meet this moment?”. A keynote speaker and expert facilitators will guide us through this process. Finally we will break bread together in a community feast,
literally and symbolically solidifying the connections we have made over the weekend!

will be distributed countywide in collaboration with the Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader.
Application DEADLINE to be in the Printed Directory: Tuesday February 4th.
Application DEADLINE for Tabling Participation: Monday March 3rd.
