It is with great pleasure that I inform you that one of my greatest passions is the collection of lapel badges and insignias.
In fact I possess a collection of around three thousand lapel badges and have appeared in the local press a number of times. I enclose a press cutting for your interest.
For this reason I would like to ask for your assistance in helping me to enlarge my collection, and enquire if the institution that you direct has any official badge or insignia, which
you might be able to kindly send me.
If you could please spare a moment of your time and arrange for a badge to be sent, could I possibly impose on you by asking that the badge be sent by certified post, as I have had various
badges stolen when sent by normal post.
