2. Continuation on discussion regarding use of PST for future Sergeant Exams.
V. New Business:
1. Acting Sheriff Pernsteiner requests an exemption from the Civil Service Rules to allow Deputy
Murray to participate in the Sergeant Exam.
2:15 to 2:30 – Executive Session and Potential Action with Civil Service Commission, Chief Examiner, and
Secretary; re: Exemption as Outlined in the Open Public Meetings Act, RCW 42.30.110(1)(g).
2. Appointment of 2025 Chair.
