The webinar will be 1.5 hrs. long and presented over Zoom. All participants will be provided with shiitake production resource materials being developed by WSU Extension. PROGRAM FEATURES: * Timber considerations: selection, cutting, and handling * Shiitake strain considerations * Inoculation procedures, equipment, logistics & labor efficiency * Shiitake production site considerations, and seasonal management * Shiitake enterprise planning considerations * WSU's current projects with forest-cultivated mushroom production NOTE: WSU & OSU Extension are also expecting to be hosting several hands-on forest-grown shiitake workshops throughout the next few months, so stay tuned for future announcements.
