Committee (SWAC); District 1 Citizen Representative and City of
Port Townsend Alternate Representative
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT
Advisory Board appointment (2) re: Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC);
District 1 Citizen Representative and City of Port Townsend Alternate Representative,
ANALYSIS:
Public Works has received a request for reappointment to the SWAC from the current
District 1 citizen representative who is also currently serving as the SWAC Chair and
from the alternate representative for the City of Port Townsend. Both of these
volunteer SWAC members bring a perspective gained from previous terms that would
be beneficial to staff as the update to the Solid Waste Management Plan begins in
April, 2025.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Ms. Grisman and Mr. Morris's request for reappointment to the SWAC and
update the SWAC membership list.
