Subject: Hypothermia
CAUTION: External Email
Tent shelters supplied to believe in recovery and warming center are a warm season crawl in type that do nothing to protect against hypothermia. I suggest getting double layer pop up
tents that are 60 inches in height. Even better to have cots distributed with them. Being up off the ground help protect against hypothermia. Having only enough room for someone
to crawl in and lay down on the ground actually will speed the onset of hypothermia. I was handed one of these inappropriate tents. This is not the definition of protecting the vulnerable.
This is the definition of putting vulnerable folks at risk.
