Esteemed Commissioners,
Hello to each of you and to Carolyn, whom I've also copied here.
As you all know, the recent retirement of Sheriff Joe Nole triggered a process in which it fell to the Central Committee of the Jefferson County Democrats to vet applicants and provide
the Board of County Commissioners with a pool of three names from which to select an interim Sheriff.
The Central Committee has completed its vetting process and is proud to put forward the names of the following qualified nominees, provided in alphabetical order by last name:
* Brett Anglin
* Art Frank
* Andy Pernsteiner
We note that while the Central Committee considers Brett Anglin a viable candidate, Mr. Anglin has expressed his preference to decline to serve.
Should the BoCC wish to review the Central Committee's vetting materials as it undertakes its own vetting process, please do not hesitate to contact me.
