Requests by the organizations for new appointments to the SWAC are the subject of a separate Agenda Request. Robin Merrill, Alternate Member representing Skookum Contract Services, has relocated to another state, and David Zellar, representing the City of Port Townsend, has retired from City employment. Respective e-mail correspondences are attached. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's and Con's: The respective organizations are requesting new SWAC member appointments to represent their interests. If granted by the Board, voting member representation of the organizations would continue. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: Jefferson County's SWAC is mandated by RCW 70.95.165(3) and costs associated with SWAC activities are identified in the 2019 Solid Waste Budget. Recommendation: Accept Ms. Merrill's and Mr. Zellar's resignations and update the SWAC Membership list.
