Skookum Contract Services is requesting the appointment of Stacy Hall as Alternate Member. The City of Port Townsend is requesting the appointments of Brian Reid as Member, and of Jim Madden as Alternate Member. E-mailed correspondences are attached. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's and Con's: Appointments of the new SWAC members by the Board of Commissioners will ensure continued representation of the Skookum Contract Services and the City of Port Townsend with voting privilege into 2020. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: A local SWAC is mandated by RCW 70.95.165(3). Costs associated with SWAC activities are identified in the 2019 Solid Waste Budget. Recommendation: Approve the appointment requests of Skookum Contract Services and of the City of Port Townsend; update the SWAC Membership List.
