Pavement repair requires daytime closure of US 101 ramp to SR 117 in Port Angeles Feb. 12
PORT ANGELES – Daytime travelers who use the eastbound US 101 ramp to State Route 117 in Port Angeles will want to make other plans Feb. 12.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12
Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close the ramp for pavement repairs. The ramp provides access from eastbound US 101 to the Tumwater Truck Route on
northbound SR 117.
Whenever near work zones please:
* Slow down – drive the posted speeds for worker and traveler safety.
* Be kind –workers are out there helping to keep people safe and improve the roadways.
* Pay attention – both to workers directing travelers and surrounding traffic.
* Stay calm – expect delays, leave early or take alternate routes if possible; no meeting or appointment is worth risking someone’s life.
