Dear Commissioners,
I support the creation of a Jefferson County Public Facility District (PFD), an entity with the responsibility to construct and operate a new aquatic recreation facility in Port Hadlock.
I recently attended a presentation by students at PTHS where an overwhelming message was that they feel left out of the discussion. They don't feel prioritized when decisions are being
made in our county.
I urge you to support the pathway for our community to get an aquatic center. This would unlock high school swim opportunities and serve all ages of community members!
