Mr.Josh Peters:
It has been 19 years working with 5 different directors and their associates,spending millions of needless
dollars on consultants and peer reviews of consultants,including fees for government-to-government
tribal meetings and nonsensical objections that are clearly contrary to Washington legislation.
Our Board has requested of Mr. Holbert to take minutes of each meeting because we are over the
inconsistency and ridiculous fees that we have been assessed for repeated events that confirms an
underline problem at the County level,which has been confirmed by certain Commissioners.
It does not need to take 19 years for an approval that abides by the existing zoning initiated by the
County,for a Master Planned Recreation Community.
The County has a terrible reputation,that we have learned is well earned,as noted by developers who
will never return to Jefferson County,due to needless delays and expenses.
Can you imagine,we had to pay for 19 single permits to remove decaying septic outhouses,that were
not allowed to be removed a decade earlier.
We have succeeded a court application and an appeal of this application, providing us the legal
authorization for this development that is required to enhance the economy of Jefferson County.
Please look up the date of our approved development agreement.
We still cannot even get a permit for a prefab steel structure called the Agra-Center.
If you,Sir,would take the responsibility and provide in writing a schedule that enables us to plan our
financing,that includes reasonable fees,this would help address our continued frustration.
There should not be continual resistance by the county,especially after this length of time.
You told me 18 months earlier that under your directorship,we could expect cooperation, and you asked
that we hire local experts
Even with Mr. Holbert and Mr. Hodges,we are still experiencing similar abuse,that is unnecessary.
Please advise if you are asking us to reconcile these issues in court?
