As a teacher, mother, and daughter, I am voicing my support for speedy plans toward building a pool to support the health of this vibrant community. Not only is having an adequate pool
a safety measure in a place surrounded by water, it serves as an integral place for community members of ALL ages to gather. My son is an enthusiastic learner and asks me about the
"new pool" often. He loves to be in the water, but cannot swim yet due to the inadequate local pool, its closures, and limited hours. I see a great need in this community for indoor
recreation for young and old, parents and grandparents, retirees and the working class, the injured and the playful. I am ecstatic to hear a new pool is in the works!!! I can't WAIT
for its grand opening!
