HomeMy WebLinkAboutca6 INTERDEPARTMENTAL AGREEMENT between Jefferson County and WSU Jefferson County Extension This Interdepartmental Agreement between Jefferson County and WSU Jefferson County Extension makes available easily accessible meeting space at the WSU Extension Office located at 201 W. Patison Street, Port Hadlock WA to support ongoing community education and life-long learning with a link to WSU research, programs and local staff. WHEREAS , in 2007 WSU Jefferson County signed a four year lease for the Spruce Room at the Shold Business Park, Port Hadlock, WA that provides centrally located and easily accessible meeting space to the County; WHEREAS , in 2010 Jefferson County renewed its commitment and continued to fund in its annual budget in the amount of $5,000 to be paid to WSU Jefferson County Extension to accommodate a variety of community and county-based business and activities for meeting and program room space for all county departments; NOW, THEREFORE , it is mutually agreed that: Continuing in 2010 and/or to the end of the lease at December 31, 2010 Jefferson County contracts with WSU Jefferson County Extension to provide unlimited meeting room and program space on a first come, first serve basis for all Jefferson County Departments for the sum of $5,000.00, to be invoiced on a quarterly basis. Prosecutor’s Office Date Attachment A To Interdepartmental Agreement between the Jefferson County and WSU Jefferson County Extension providing for meeting and program room space. 1. Reservations for room rentals are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. 2. Reservations may be made for morning, afternoon or evening four hour blocks of time as follows: Madronna Room, 201 West Patison St, Pt. Hadlock * Value $35 per block of time – morning, afternoon or evening Room Capacity: 20 Spruce Room, 215 West Patison St, Pt. Hadlock * Value $45 per block of time – morning, afternoon or evening Room Capacity: 80 3. A summary of usage will be prepared quarterly using the values * (costs) identified above and will be available upon request 4. Arrangements to pick up key(s) and alarm codes in addition to the return of the keys should be made in advance of the activity. 5. Rooms are to be restored to original condition when leaving. Garbage taken out to the back dumpster, dishes placed in the dishwasher, and chairs returned to original order. A commercial cleaning rate (approximately $50 per hour) will be charged to the department using the facility when clean-up is required. 6. Hot water, commercial coffee machines and refrigeration are provided. Users may bring their own coffee, tea, cream, sugar, etc. (No storage is available.) 7. A variety of technology and equipment is available first come, first serve and only if all arrangements are made in advance. Equipment includes: large screen television, DVD / CD / VCR player, LCD and overhead projectors, white boards, computer hook-up, satellite and wireless connections. (Some fees may apply – call for arrangements.) 8. Repair for damage is the responsibility of the user.
