HB 1835 | Opportunity to Provide Testimony
LSC Members,
HB 1835, a bill prohibiting the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board from issuing a license for the production and processing of cannabis if a local government objects based on
local zoning restrictions, is being heard on Wednesday, February 19th, in the House Committee on Consumer Protection & Business at 1:30 PM.
Requiring cooperation by the Liquor and Cannibas Board in license issuance with local zoning has been a longtime goal of WSAC members. We made progress a few years ago with new retail
licenses. This bill would do the same for production and processing.
