SUBJECT: ADVISORY COMMITTEE REAPPOINTMENT (1) re: Conservation
Futures Fund Citizen Oversight Committee; Ron Rempel
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Tami Pokorny, Chair of the Conservation Futures Fund Citizen Oversight Committee, was contacted by
member, Ron Rempel, that he would like to be reappointed to his position as an open Interest Wildlife
Conservation Biology member. His term expired on January 4, 2025.
An advertisement was placed in the newspaper from January 22—February 5, 2025, for this position.
ANALYSIS:
The Conservation Futures Fund Citizen Oversight Committee recommends that the Board of County
Commissioners (BoCC)reappoint Ron Rempel to another four(4)year term.
RECOMMENDATION
The Conservation Futures Fund Citizen Oversight Committee recommend that the BoCC approve the
following:
• Ron Rempel—Four(4)year term expiring February 24, 2029
