I am writing in strong support of Andy for the position of Jefferson County Sheriff. Andy consistently demonstrates professionalism, compassion, leadership, and teamwork within his office.
His leadership is evident in the deep respect he has earned from his colleagues and his ability to collaborate with them rather than work against them. He listens attentively to both
his team and the community, actively seeking input from citizens and community organizations.
Several years ago, when Joe and Art were candidates for Sheriff, it was clear to both the community and the Sheriff’s Department that Art was not the right fit for the role. Joe’s leadership
fostered teamwork, boosted morale, and positively impacted the department. Andy is well-positioned to continue this legacy, ensuring that the Sheriff’s Department remains on the right
path.
I firmly believe that Andy is the only candidate who should be considered for this appointment. His dedication to the department and the community makes him the best choice to serve
as Jefferson County Sheriff.
