I am writing to offer my full and unwavering support for the promotion of Undersheriff Andy Pernsteiner to the position of Sheriff. As a veteran law enforcement officer with over twenty
years of service, I have had the privilege of working alongside many distinguished individuals in the law enforcement field. Based on my experience and observations, I am confident
that Undersheriff Pernsteiner possesses the leadership, expertise, and character necessary to lead the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office with great success.
Having worked with Undersheriff Pernsteiner on several joint operations, I have seen firsthand his exceptional ability to navigate complex law enforcement situations with professionalism
and sound judgment. His deep understanding of law enforcement operations, along with their collaborative approach to problem-solving, has proven invaluable in ensuring the safety and
security of our communities. Undersheriff Pernsteiner has always shown the utmost respect for his colleagues, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect between agencies.
In addition to his technical expertise, Undersheriff Pernsteiner consistently demonstrates the personal qualities of a true leader. He possesses the integrity, empathy, and communication
