US 101 road work scheduled ahead of construction near Port Angeles Feb. 23-28
PORT ANGELES – The last week of February, travelers on US 101 and State Route 117 near Port Angeles will want to plan extra travel time. Travelers will see lane and ramp closures for

Daytime work
Beginning Monday, Feb. 24, travelers will see daytime work on US 101 near Tumwater Creek. Contractor crews will place signs and prepare for an upcoming 80-day closure <https://links-1.govdelivery.com

closure begins Monday, March 3.
7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24 through Friday, Feb. 28:
* One-way alternating traffic on US 101 between West Nicholas Road and the Black Diamond Road overpass.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 25-26:
* Maintenance crews will close the ramp from US 101 eastbound to SR 117 northbound to complete pavement repairs.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27:
* Single-lane closures on SR 117 while maintenance crews complete repairs to the roadway. This work is weather-permitting and could be postponed.
Nighttime work along US 101 east of Port Angeles
Beginning Sunday, Feb. 23, contractor crews will install traffic cameras at three intersections. Travelers can expect single-lane closures near each intersection.
7 p.m. each night to 7 a.m. the following morning, Sunday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, Feb. 27:
* Westbound US 101 at East Kolonels Way
* Westbound US 101 at South Brook Avenue
* Eastbound US 101 at South Golf Course Road
