SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENTS (3) re: Jefferson County Parks
and Recreation Advisory Board (JCPRAB); Vern Bessey, District 1; Bob
Hoyle, District 2; Marianne Walters, District 2
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (JCPRAB) had three (3) positions which
expired on August 27, 2024 for District 1, February 21, 2025 for District 2 and December 10, 2024 for
wasplaced in the paper to fill thesepositions.No new applicants applied for these
district 2. An ad p p pP Pp
positions.
ANALYSIS:
Board members Vern Bessey, Bob Hoyle and Marianne Walters have submitted their requests to continue to
serve on the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
RECOMMENDATION
JCPRAB members and County staff recommend that the Board approve the following:
1. Vern Bessey, District 1 - Two (2)year term expiring March 10, 2027
2. Bob Hoyle, District 2—Two (2) year term expiring March 10, 2027
3. Marianne Walters, District 2 - Two (2)year term expiring March 10, 2027
