Nighttime lane closures mark beginning of construction on US 101 at Lees and Ennis Creeks near Port Angeles
PORT ANGELES – Travelers on US 101 east of Port Angeles should prepare for upcoming nighttime lane closures.
Starting Sunday, March 9 through Thursday, March 13, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will set up the work zone for a fish barrier removal

Work hours
Each night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each following morning, the right lane in both directions of US 101 will close between South Del Guzzi Drive and South Brook Avenue
Once the work zone is established for Lees and Ennis Creeks, travelers will see shifted lanes and a reduced speed limit from 40 mph to 25 mph on US 101 from milepost 249.8 to 250.8.
This will give crews the room they need to construct the project.
During construction, two lanes in each direction of US 101 will remain open during daytime hours through the work zone.
This work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.
