Greetings Mayor Randall Woodfin and Everybody in Birmingham,
In the name of Jesus Christ, we thank God for every second, every minute, every hour, and every day that we have experienced minimized violence and crime in the city of Birmingham, Alabama.
It is written, "Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." We realize the overall objective is
to have new hearts of love, understanding, peace and joy. We thank God for every soul that is working diligently and faithfully to make Birmingham an exemplary city of change not just
for non violent protests during the twilight of the Civil Rights Movements but for people having mutual respect for one another and minimizing crime right now.
For every City, County, State, and Federal employee that is contributing to peace in our communities (e.g. all inclusive businesses, school, parks, and homes), we say, "Hallelujah to
the Most High God!" For every faith based person and/or organization that is faithful to peace in our City, we say, "Hallelujah to the Most High God!" For every citizen in Birmingham,
Alabama and around the globe that is determined for Birmingham, Alabama to be a consistent beacon of light for the world, we say, "Hallelujah to the Most High God now and always!"
We believe and understand through teamwork, diligence, and Divine Truth that we have already prevailed and are manifesting the best results of miraculous love in our city. We are a model
city for cities around the world as a city of perseverance, extreme peace, and wisdom. We walk by faith and not by sight while using the weapons of our warfare that are not carnal but
mighty unto God now and always. Young Jeezy released a song entitled "I Put on for My City" and we are more than putting on for our city but we are praying for our city which is every
single person that is a citizen of Birmingham, Alabama.
Again, thank you to Almighty God, our ultimate leader but also thank you Almighty God for every person that believes in us as a community and as a people - starting with our Government
leaders flowing to every child in our city. We shall overcome it is overshadowed by the grace of the Most High God that says, We Have Overcome it! Thank you Lord! Let's not lose heart
and please let's keep believing. Our best days are ahead of us in the name of Christ the redeemer!
In spite of the fact that I fight evils just like every other person on the planet (winning some and losing some), I am nearly without words for the progress that we are making as a
city as we are growing together and remembering what works and what does not work for our city.
Blessings to all of our local government leaders (e.g. State, County, City, and Federal) and to all of their community partners who are putting in the time and energy for our success
as a city. You are truly putting on for your city by doing the work spiritually and physically. Thank You!
