With the daffodils in bloom, and cherry trees about to pop, I am reminded that spring is around the corner. County public works departments are busy preparing for construction season, and our agency is busy planning for our annual spring events: Road Design Conference, County Engineer Training, our second quarter board meeting, and preparing to attend and participate in partner events. We are also excited to announce preparations are underway for a celebration of our 60th anniversary! The County Road Administration Board was established in 1965, and sixty years later we are going strong. Stay tuned for details about our 60th celebration later this year. In this month’s newsletter, I am providing an update on the legislative session. It has been quite the session already, and it isn't over yet.
