JEFFERSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION Special Meeting – March 19, 2025

• Planning Commission Updates:
Commissioner Shultz: Attended the BoCC hearing, on Short Term Rentals, on Monday 3/17. There was a lively discussion.

Cendre Hunt: Engage Jefferson County, Well Organized – 08:19 – 10:50 REGULAR BUSINESS
• Comprehensive Plan Workshop and Community Outreach a. Project status update and outreach presentation – Joel Peterson
b. Climate Resilience Element and Critical Areas Ordinance update – Donna Frostholm
c. Immediate Questions/Answers and Comment, particularly from online participants, before breaking out into the open house format. The public comment period is managed by the Chair. Public comments before the open house will be limited to three minutes. Online
participants will have an opportunity to communicate with the room now and participate
during the open house through the Zoom Whiteboard utility. d. Open House Portion i. Attendees and Planning Commissioners to circulate among element specific
stations for discussion and comment. Note interrelationships between elements and
how policy development may affect multiple subjects.

ii. There are opportunities to provide comments on Comprehensive Plan goals and
policies posters, on comment sheets, and by sending comments to
