What does equity look like? A person with no money living in a shelter takes a free bus to a commissioner meeting every week and champions an idea of an ADA accessible Urban Rest Stop
to meet essential life needs of homeless and low income. The County and City resident a heavy hitter (case) joins the fight, wins over the city and the county, demonstrating we don't
have to agree on everything to work together to benefit all communities. Using resources from all agencies and foundations will make this float, not having the burden be on any one
entity means this will be a long lasting financially efficient concern and not a spectacular showboat that sinks like the Titanic.
