Hello Jefferson County school community and youth/family-serving partners,
Once again, we're inviting Jefferson County young adults (up to age 24) and families with children (ages 0-18) to let us know if they'd like extra help with food around Spring Break
(we're very sorry to be late in South County this time around). We'll be doing our pop-up, build-your-own food-box events again -- at 4 different sites throughout the county, on Thurs.,
4/10 (Brinnon/Quil.) and Fri., 4/11 (Tri-Area/PT). If you know of youth/young adults/families who may have this need, please feel free to pass this link on to them: https://www.olympicpeninsulaymca
.org/jcmeals. (Schools: please consider sending out to all of your students/families.)
Attached, please find a flyer that our communications folks have put together -- please consider posting this in your school as well and/or circulating electronically (the first page
is the general flyer, the second and third are for PTSD and CSD respectively). There's also a second attachment with a flyer in Spanish. We will use this same flyer throughout the
entire school year -- we will update the webpage linked to the QR code prior to Summer Break. I will send you a similar email reminder when we do. The surveys will close on the Tuesday
prior to the distribution dates (e.g., on 4/8 for the Mid-Winter Break distribution).
