Last night consumer # 1 who has the beginnings of age related Alzheimer's and is a small frail person was scratched til skin broken and bleeding by staff member initials T.B. dog .
It was bound to happen staff member kept dog at desk because it was large and aggressive. Another staff member first initial D. Dog first initial K. Wanders around freely because it
is not aggressive. T.B. barely apologized, consumer #1 taken to hospital. Consumer # 2 a domestic violence offender who is hostile to women walked over to consumer #1 dining table
sat across from #1 and verbally attacked #1 saying # 1 "knew" staff member T.B dog was aggressive and shouldn't have been so close to staff member. # 2 (initial D.)is very big and yells
and was throwing his arms and pointing fingers in her face telling her over and over that it was her fault the dog scratched her. Consumer # 2 agrees dog is aggressive even though
he wrongly thinks #1 at fault. T.B. should be let go because he knew his dog was aggressive, did not prioritize safety of elderly disabled consumers. Instead catering to his aggressive
dog. Shelter is unsafe for all consumers when consumer safety is not the priority.
