Special Meeting
MINUTES
8:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024
Jefferson County Courthouse, Commissioners Chambers Conference Room
I. Present: Chair Faber called the meeting to order at 8:38 a.m. in the presence of
Commissioner Greg Brotherton, Member Gary Mikelson, Member Howard Scott,
Secretary Sarah Melancon, and Lindsay Gonzalez, Human Resources Analyst.
II. Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Brotherton moved to approve the special
meeting minutes from April 30, 2024. Member Scott seconded the motion. The
motion carried.
III. Old Business: The Board reviewed research conducted on other LEOFF I Boards’
policies and Medicare coverage regarding medical air ambulance.
IV. New Business: Commissioner Brotherton moved to assign Lindsay Gonzalez as Board
Secretary. Member Mikelson seconded the motion. The motion carried.
V. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 8:43 a.m. The next regular meeting is
scheduled for Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
