CORRESPONDENCE (1:04)
Marianne forwarded a message from Cher Albrecht, past Gibbs Lake Caretaker noting she gave 5 weeks’
notice to the county.
Minutes approved (2:00)
Moved by Marianne, seconded by Susie, and carried all in favor: to accept meeting minutes from
February 6, 2025.
BOARD MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS (2:30)
National Trails day work party at Gibbs Lake on June 7th.
NEW BUSINESS (3:10)
Board Candidate Interview – Diana Grunow, District #1
The board interviewed Diana Grunow as a District 1 candidate. Providing well received responses, the
board unanimously approved Diana for appointment.
(3:43) Bob asked Diana JCPRAB interview questions.

(12:35) Moved by Marianne, seconded by Susie, and carried all in favor: to recommend to the Board of
County Commissioners that Diana Grunow be appointed to district 1 Jefferson County Parks Advisory
Board as JCPRAB member for district 1.
Gibbs Lake Caretakers area update (13:58)
Matt shared an update about the Gibbs Lake Caretakers site. Discussion was had about shore access,
host site set up, trail opportunities, timeline, and permits.
SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (33:08)
JCPRAB Event Planning Guide (working draft document)
Parks Tour 2025
• Date changed: 4th Wed of April annually, April 23, 2025
• 9am-2pm
• District 1 site visits: Cape George Trailhead, Memorial Field, Recreation Center, North Beach,
Courthouse Park
Duties were distributed and expected to distribute the completed agenda by Monday, 14th.
Bob, Susie, Diana, Marianne, Karin, Vern, Taylor confirmed their availability.
