Mr. Hugoniot,
While I appreciate the update, I cannot believe that the county is acting in good faith in this matter.
The delay in response until April 25 is clearly motivated by politics, hiding the records to avoid disclosure before the hearing on the formation of the Public Facilities District by
the BoCC, which is scheduled for April 14.
The records were obviously available well before April 7 because there was adequate time for preparation of a formal presentation to the BoCC on that date.
Is the delay in production of the records legal? Yes, at least for now. But what does that say about the underhanded methods that the county is willing to use to hide the truth and justify
creation of a new taxing authority, the PFD?
To be clear, I am not blaming you, Mr. Hugoniot, but I am very disappointed and dissatisfied to see the county stoop this low.

I am requesting a copy in electronic format of all responses to that survey which were received at any time by the Jefferson County Aquatic Coalition (JAC).
Those survey responses are public records, a fact that has been repeatedly acknowledged by JAC and the BoCC in public meetings of the BoCC.
Some additional time will be needed to locate, compile and review responsive records. We estimate that public records responsive to this request will be available within ten business
days from today, on or before 4/25/2025. If public records become available in advance of this estimate we will contact you promptly. Conversely, if the County encounters a need to
extend our estimate, we will contact you promptly with a revised estimated date.
