Gentlemen,
The CAB, for many years, was a valuable asset to the PUD, however given the many changes to the PUD, especially the huge increase in staff, I believe the CAB – having accomplished its
intended purpose – should effectively be dissolved. I've reached this conclusion due to the fact that the CAB last met on July 11, 2022; on Aug 16, 2022, you voted to suspend the CAB.
Resolution 2018-015 states:
7. Administration and Support
The CAB shall:
(c) conduct a monthly meeting. . .
Clearly, after nearly three years, we are out of compliance with this resolution. I encourage you to consult legal counsel regarding this matter, and based upon his advice, either restart
the CAB or dissolve it via resolution.
