HomeMy WebLinkAbout042225 email - sensory gardenI am working with Salish Coast Elementary School to create a sensory garden—a peaceful, engaging outdoor space where our students can explore nature through sights, sounds, and touch.
This special area will support learning, creativity, and well-being for all our kids, especially those who benefit from sensory-rich environments.
To help bring this vision to life, we are kindly asking for donations of the following items:
• Wind chimes (of all sizes and tones)
• Water features-bubbling fountains solar or battery powered/ or small pools offer tactile exploration (self-contained fountain that does not have any external piping or need to be connected
to a water source)
If you have gently used or new items you’d be willing to contribute, we would be so grateful! Donations can be dropped off at Public Health, or feel free to reach out and we can coordinate
pickup.
Thank you for helping us grow something beautiful for our children. Your generosity will make a lasting difference in their daily experience and connection to nature.
With gratitude,
